Markelle Fultz To The Magic

Markell Fultz to the magic

The Philadelphia 76ers are trading 2017 No. 1 overall pick Markelle Fultz to the Orlando Magic league sources told ESPN's  Adrian Wojnarowski.

In return the Philadelphia 76ers will be getting first round pick Jonathan Simmons and a second round pick. I would say this trade is a win win for both teams. Simmons is averaging 6.9 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 41 games this season. He can be a great contributor to the 76ers roster no offense to Fultz but Simmons con serve a better purpose and might even flourish more in the Sixers organization then Fultz has these past two seasons also he can play right away unlike Fultz.

But this is not just to bash Fultz on is inactivity on the court Fultz does have a good reason to be out and shouldn’t be rushing his recovery from his thoracic outlet syndrome, a condition that affects the nerves between the neck and shoulder. Actually According to recent reports from Fultz agents stated that “Fultz is progressing well in rehabilitation on his right shoulder and that he expects Fultz to return to the team this season”. Well now his return will be with the magic which is a good for him and the magic. He gets a fresh start off his injury with a new team which is the best way to jump start his career back up also he will have a bigger role with the Magic which will help him showcase his talents and prove to the NBA community that he is not a bust. Also this trade will be good for the Magic because if they can get Fultz fit in their system he can be star for them and if him and Aaron Gordon are on the same page they can really change their organization around and draw more stars to play with them out in Orlando.

So this trade as of right now is as I said earlier is a win win for both teams but in the long I feel as if the Orlando Magic will be the beneficiary of this deal.
